This is almost always a go to for dinner. The food is authentic and fresh. From nachos and burritos to enchiladas, chilaquiles and cemitas(chorizo is my fav) it's all amazing. Service is amazing, even when busy they always get it correct! Highly recommended

I honestly didn't want to share this gem of a Mexican Restaurant with anybody, but it wouldn't be fair to my fellow Yelpers not to. If you're looking for ambiance. This is not the place for you. The restaurant is located on a corner and looks like a deli. It has a few small tables in the rear to eat. The restaurant is clean and the owners are really nice people and go out of their way to provide good food and service at reasonable prices . My favorites here are the steak platter which comes with salad, a jalapeño pepper, onion, fried cheese, rice and beans. The nachos with grilled shrimp are off the hook and all the tacos are phenomenal. Tres leches cake for dessert is a must have. Take out is busy here and recommended so be prepared to wait about 30 minutes. Place a phone order to expedite. I almost forgot to mention. They have a juice bar. You have to try the passion fruit smoothie and the tamarind juice. These are my favorites. Enjoy !!

Tastes like authentic Mexican food. Decent prices and lots of options. The shrimp tacos and veggie tacos are so good. Nice and juicy pieces of shrimp. The empananadas with cheese are okay. Nothing to write home about. The hot sauce is hot and the portions of food are always great. This is definitely my favorite place to order tacos from for lunch while at work. Ive never been here since we always order. I think my coworker calls to order (i don't think they are on any of the apps we use) but the food always comes quick and it hot.

The food is really good and the closest I feel we'll get to authentic Mexican in this area. Other nearby options are Tex-mex. I had the Texano chicken nachos and beef Torta sandwich (even though I ordered chicken). Food is on the pricy side.

My co workers and I ordered some food from Girasoles as it looks like a great Mexican spot near our workplace- luckily we were right! We ordered a couple tacos, horchata, chips and guacamole, and tres leches. Everything was great and there were no complaints- they gave a very generous amount of guacamole which was appreciated. I just wish they added a couple more lime slices but I'm sure that can easily be requested. Also, the tres leches was a little bit too sweet but a little Tajin never hurt anybody :). We will be ordering from here again.

If you're looking for Mexican food to eat try Girasoles Mexican Cuisine. I certainly gave it a try. And I did not regret it one bit. The food was delicious! My delivery guy was patient and kind. I will definitely be ordering from here!

Haven't had Mexican food in a long time and I've always liked this place before so we ordered delivery; we tried the cheese enchiladas with mole sauce. It comes with rice and beans. I can see why the enchiladas were highly recommended. It was so good. I've never had a good mole until now. The sauce was amazing. Better than anything I've had in Jackson Heights. The rice and beans were good too. Everything was seasoned nicely. Lots of flavor. Would've liked more rice to mix it with the yummy sauce. Luckily I had some white rice leftover from the night before so L could finish the rest of the ench I also tried their Carne Asada platter which comes with 2 large, but thin pieces of carne with fried cheese, avocado, grilled onions, spicy jalapeño pepper, salad, rice & beans. I made some white rice and it was enough for the two of us. The fried cheese was really good. The meat wasn't too salty which is a plus for me but it was so thin that the meat was a bit dry; it was still tasty.

A local favorite of mine. I've been here multiple times and loved each order. The tostadas, tacos, burritos, nachos, all incredible. The nachos are made with fresh tortilla chips and has enough toppings for each and every chip. The lengua taco is amazingg. The burrito is huge. You wont regret coming here

This has been my go to Mexican spot during this pandemic. I'm generally very fussy about Mexican food. But this place exceeds expectations. I usually get the carne asada platillo which is massive. Steak, fried cheese, chared jalapeno, tiny caramelized onion with lettuce, tomato and avocado. PLUS rice and beans for the modest price of $11.99 That's a ton of food for a very reasonable price. I also get the chicken taco which is always stellar. They don't skimp out with the chicken and add guacamole (no extra charge!) I always request hot sauce and green sauce on the side which they never forget. Last time I ordered I got horchata. That was my first time trying the drink. I gotta say, I'm a fan. It's very sweet and a great way to end the meal. Almost everything I've tried at this restaurant I've enjoyed. Delivery is pretty prompt. Prices are reasonable and food is delicious. Great Mexican spot in the area.
